INTRODUCTION
The figure of King Solomon, his wisdom and power influenced over many magicians and esotericists since ancient times. The Key of Solomon is a famous Grimoire from the Renaissance period and it attributed to him. The Seals from the Key of Solomon, also called the Clavicula Salomonis, represent the pentacles with certain angels, demons or spirits, each of which governs a specific planet and symbolize super-human wisdom and rule by divine grace. They combines strength, beauty, symbolism and illustrative quality and all within a geometric figure. According to the ancient traditions, these were the symbols engraved in his rings. Now they are used as magic and divination tools or in amulets and talismans in Kabbalah.
The fountain-head and storehouse of Kabbalistic Magic, and the origin of much of the Ceremonial Magic of medieval times, the Key has been ever valued by occult writers as a work of the highest authority; and notably Eliphaz Levi has taken it for the model on which his celebrated “Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie” was based. It must be evident to the initiated reader of Levi, that the Key of Solomon was his text book of study.
The Seals are considered to be extraordinarily powerful in Ceremonial Magic. Some of them are used for reunion relationships, finding a match, marital harmony, removing the evil eye or witchcraft, exorcism and all kinds of ghouls from home or the environment, success and livelihood, love, keeping away of disaster or illness, health and recovery from illness.
The Seal of Solomon has direct impact on the spiritual world which in turn affects the material world. Each seal has its own sphere of influence, which it can improve or change by the will of its owner.
If you use them as amulet, they may empower you to feel better about yourself and your life and activates your innate ability to create wholeness, wellness and balance in your body, mind and spirit. These amulets will open the path to success and remove any obstacles and blockages on your way. Each seal has a particular purpose and influences a certain aspect of your life. To activate the power of the amulet, hold it between your hands and summon its powers to help you. Let its energies penetrate your energy field. Learn and repeat the versicle or scripture associated with the seal. Hang it on the wall at home or office and you will immediately feel the positive energies it inspires on its surroundings.
Planetary Pentacles have a wide range of magical uses, for both good and evil. It is important to carefully consider the consequences of using magic of any kind, even that used with good intentions.
You can use they also like the divination tool.
There are a few languages used in Solomon's Seals: Hebrew, "The Passing of the River" (Hebraic Kabbalistic writing system derived from the ancient Hebrew alphabet) and some magical languages.
On the cards the Psalms in the Seals is written in English and not in Hebrew in order to facilitate their use.
The central parts of the Pentacles is written in Hebrew, what gives it extra potency. The Hebrew letters are known as the building blocks of the universe.
Latin letters was used only in the center of one pentacle - the Second Pentacle of Saturn
This is the Sator Square (or Rotas Square), a five-word Latin palindrome and the most perfect existing form of double acrostic, as far as the arrangement of the letters is concerned; it is repeatedly mentioned in the records of medieval Magic. It will be seen at a glance that it is a square of five, giving twenty-five letters, which, added to the unity, gives twenty-six, the numerical value of IHVH.
In the left top corner of the card there is the Planet of the Pentacle and in the right bottom its number.
